Involve Your Child in Preparing Meals Kids love to be part of activities, and preparing meals with you may be a fun activity that encourages them to eat healthy food. Allow your child to pick out some of the ingredients and help you prepare the meal. By doing this, your child may become more willing to try some of the healthy foods they helped prepare.
